Job Fest 2013
Job Fest is a joint project between the Department of Post Secondary Education, Training and Labour (Employment Division - Southwest Region) and the Anglophone School District- South. This is a career fair style event that is run on a virtual web-based platform.
What makes this event very different is that you can actually participate right from your place of business via a scheduled live chat forum that links with students who are participating in the event. Participant feedback is always extremely positive from both companies and students as everyone benefits from this initiative.
We are looking for a few more companies to participate in this FREE event. Your participation will not only contribute to the success of grade 11 students in our region by providing them with information to prepare for their careers, this is an excellent PR and marketing opportunity for your organization as well.
If you are interested, please visit our website @ www.careersthatwork.ca (click the Job Fest icon) or contact me if you would like more information. This has been a huge success for many years, hopefully with your involvement, we can provide a great experience for everyone again this year!
