Building off a track record of success and innovation, C-Therm is currently exploring new dimensions of thermophysical analysis.

The Opportunity

C-Therm is currently looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team as the company explores and moves into new opportunities in thermal analysis.  Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this position will be responsible for the design of mechanical parts and assemblies for new products, provide support for products in manufacturing, and specify test and documentation of mechanical designs. C-Therm provides a flexible and dynamic work environment.  You will have the opportunity to work with a company that has a proven track record of success while still providing the fun and excitement of a start-up environment. 

The Requirements


The Ideal candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and:
  • At least 3 years 3D mechanical design with Solid Works or Pro Engineer
  • Excellent knowledge of GD&T standards and practices
  • Experience in design of metal parts, cutting, bending and stamping
  • Good knowledge of ISO 9001standard
  • Good knowledge of engineering processes and engineering change control
  • Experience in design of tools and jigs for production environment
  • Able to prioritize tasks; delivery of results on time; emphasis on high quality
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills
The Following would be considered an asset.
  • ERP/MRP experience
  • Experience in design of electronic assemblies and cables
  • Experience in design of plastic parts, tooling and injection molding
  • Bilingual (French, English)
  • Stress under temperature and pressure simulations
  • Heat transfer simulations
  • Experience with Instrumentation
  • Programming skills in C or C++
