The Saint John Medical Society Fitness Challenge


Be involved as participant teams in the Challenge!

Team members are encouraged to exercise daily, record the minutes exercised and eat an apple every day.

The Challenge is set for April 15 to May 25 and participants can register at the SJMS website www.sjms.ca and enter their daily minutes and if they ate an apple that day. Posters will be printed and can be emailed for on site printing for interested businesses.

Last year 355 participants from 28 teams exercised for a total of 545,599 minutes or an average of 1532 minutes per person. 5467 apples were consumed.
 
More exciting is this year's involvement of area schools who will be competing for awards for the most active classes. The Saint John Medical Society will provide a prize of $1000 to a school in each of the primary, middle and secondary level for the support of fitness programs in the schools.   
Our goal is to establish healthy lifestyle patterns for all in Saint John.
