Officials at the Saint John Airport have received confirmation of the expanded 2013 flight schedule for Sunwing departures direct from Saint John Airport which includes new destinations Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba; and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; in addition to the existing Cancun, Mexico. The schedule includes three flights per week, and an earlier seasonal start date beginning Wednesday, February 6, 2013.
