2nd Annual Port Community Day Raises Funds for Boys and Club of Saint John - Sunday, June 10

Saint John (NB) – The second annual Port Community Day will be held on Sunday, June 10 from 11 am to 3 pm in the area in and around Marco Polo Cruise Terminal (111 Water Street).

Participating port partners will stretch from the Coast Guard Base to Lower Cove, both with displays and activities throughout the area.

The event includes an open house showcasing partners in the port community complemented by activities for families including a BBQ, bouncy castles, carnival games, face painting, games and plenty of family entertainment.

Highlights will include a display of equipment from CFB Gagetown including LAV (light armoured vehicle) rides, a life-size North Atlantic Right Whale inflatable provided by Irving Oil, and double-decker “Big Pink Bus” tours of the Port City from Ambassatours.

An addition this year is a free shuttle service for Lower West Side residents provided compliments of Aquila Tours. This will run from the Carleton Community Centre to the event site during the event hours.
